The Power of prayer

The Power of prayer

The Bible says “Come near to God and he will come near to you. Humble yourselves before the Lord, and he will lift you up” (James 4:8, 10 KJV)

There is no power over temptation nor victory over sin without spending time with God in prayer. Prayer should be our first option rather than the final effort. When trouble approaches, we need to run to God in prayer. If you are weary and feel heavy-laden, take time to pray. When life is joyful, take time to praise God for His goodness through prayer.

Moses prayed, and water flowed from a rock. Joshua prayed, and the sun stood still. Hannah prayed, and God gave her a son. David prayed, and Goliath fell. Elijah prayed, and fire rained down from heaven. Daniel prayed, and God closed the lions’ mouths. Jesus prayed, and 5,000 people were fed and satisfied.

When Jesus prayed in the Garden of Gethsemane, the demons shook with terror. Heaven’s boundless power and strength are ours when we pray and align our will with God’s perfect plan.

Are you discouraged and despondent? Pray. Do you feel defeated by sin? Pray. Does it seem as if your life and personal relationships are falling apart? Your greatest needs can be met through prayer.

God is not challenged by your sin or difficult circumstances. Prayer is the avenue He uses to restore your soul and to prepare you to live the life He has given you. Therefore, pray, knowing that when you draw near to Him, He will draw near to you.

The Spirit of the Lord is saying to someone reading this message that the victory is near as you persistent in your prayer that’s why I pray for someone this new week may you be empower and strengthening in the name of Jesus Christ (Ament)

Have a blissful week productive new week with tremendous divine breakthrough in the name of Jesus Christ (Amen)

The Purpose of Being Empowered

The Purpose of Being Empowered

Beloved the gifts of the Holy Spirit laid out in 1 Corinthians 12 are not simply human talents. They may not even be what we like or what best suits our personalities. These gifts, freely given to us by God, have a divine origin and are to be used for the accomplishment of a divine goal. In 1 Corinthians 12:7, we read, “Now to each one the manifestation of the Spirit is given for the common good.” God empowers His children with these spiritual gifts for a purpose: that the church may be built up. God’s purpose in giving us spiritual gifts is to edify the body of Christ. These gifts are not given to enhance our self-esteem or to be used for our own advantage, but rather that we might serve others. We are given these gifts so that we might encourage, bless, serve, love, motivate, and build one another up. Have you asked yourself question, are you a builder or selling your spiritual gifts? God desires for his children is to be active with your spiritual gifts to encourage, bless, motivate people in your environment, communities, and the body Christ. That’s why I pray for someone this new week as you utilising your spiritual gifts, may the Lord empower you to make impart in your generation in the name of Jesus Christ (Amen)

I decree once again prophetically as its written (1 Samuel 10:6 KJV) And the spirit of the Lord will come upon thee, and thou shalt prophesy with them, and shalt be turned into another man in the name of Jesus Christ. (Amen)
Have a blissful productive new week with divine testimony in the name of Jesus Christ (Amen)
