Prepare for Your Vision

Prepare for Your Vision

God has a unique vision and purpose for each of His children. God wants to bring glory to Himself through our lives. We must remember that God does not reveal His vision for our lives all at once. God reveals His vision to us when He knows we are ready and able to receive it. How then do we prepare ourselves to receive God’s vision?

First, to understand and embrace God’s vision, we must ask Him for it. The Bible tells us we have not because we ask not—and sometimes when we do ask, we ask with selfish rather than God-honoring motives. But God promises us, “Call to me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know” (Jeremiah 33:3). God wishes to reveal Himself to us, but we must first ask with pure motives and persistence.

Second, God gives His vision to those who are good stewards. God is looking for stewards who will manage His plans well, even in the face of opposition, frustration, impatience, and spiritual attack. As we follow God’s timeline, we may be tempted to become anxious or frustrated while we wait for God’s plan to unfold. Satan will entice us to bypass God’s timeline and question God’s direction. Yet God entrusts His vision to those He knows will persevere through criticism, seasons of waiting, and spiritual warfare.

Third, God gives His vision to those who are faithful in small things. He will give greater vision to those who are being faithful with what is already in their charge. The Bible teaches us that this is how God rewards His faithful servants: “You have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things” (Matthew 25:21).

The good news is that it is never too late to start seeking God’s vision. It is always the right time to decide to honor God and delight in Him.

Prepare for Your Vision

Our Weapon Against Deception

Our Weapon Against Deception

“For the LORD gives wisdom; from his mouth come knowledge and understanding” (Proverbs 2:6).
When we become serious about being Christ’s disciples, Satan will work harder to discourage and to deceive us. And that is why we must know how to pray against deception. In Joshua 9, the Israelites were returning from a time of revival, just before they encountered the Gibeonites. Had Joshua prayed for discernment, instead of relying on his own logic, he would not have been so easily deceived.
Godly wisdom is our weapon against deception: “Wisdom will save you from the ways of wicked men, from men whose words are perverse, who have left the straight paths to walk in dark ways, who delight in doing wrong and rejoice in the perverseness of evil, whose paths are crooked and who are devious in their ways” (Proverbs 2:12-15).

The Gibeonites knew the Bible, and they used it to their advantage. If Joshua had sought God’s counsel and wisdom, then perhaps God would have shown him that the “travelers” were Canaanites in disguise. We must always be on guard against those who use spiritual language to seduce us away from the Truth. That’s why I pray for you this new month may the Lord grant you wisdom with discernment spirit against those who might try to deceive you in the name of Jesus name (Amen)
I decree upon your life once again this new month you shall not be prey of deception of the enemy in the name of Jesus Christ

Have a blissful productive new month with divine wisdom in the name of Jesus Christ (Amen)

I Am the Resurrection and the Life

I Am the Resurrection and the Life

But thanks be to God! He gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ” (1 Corinthians 15:57).

Just before Jesus raised Lazarus from the dead, He spoke these words to Martha: “I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die; and whoever lives by believing in me will never die” (John 11:25-26).

When the stone was removed, Jesus commanded Lazarus to come out of the grave, and he did. Similarly, when you were dead in your sins, God called you by name. You were called to come out of your sins and to experience the power of the resurrection.
Jesus also faced death, but God raised Him from the dead. Jesus’ resurrection was physical and spiritual. It was not like Lazarus’ resurrection, for Lazarus later died again. But Jesus rose as the firstfruits of those called by the Father to eternal life.

The Bible says that Jesus died, was buried, was raised, and appeared numerous times after the resurrection. Christ’s tomb was empty then; it remains empty today. He is our risen Lord and Savior. Even the Romans, with all their power, could not produce His body. The Jewish leaders, with all their hatred and bitterness toward Jesus, could not produce His body. And if the disciples stole His body, as some have asserted, can you imagine the disciples’ willingness to die for a hoax they themselves had perpetrated?

Jesus appeared to Mary and told her, “Go instead to my brothers and tell them, ‘I am ascending to my Father and your Father, to my God and your God'” (John 20:17).

Have you experienced the power of the resurrection? Are you living in triumph or defeat? Jesus conquered the grave, and you also can conquer eternal death—but only by placing your faith in Him. He sacrificially died on the cross for your sins and rose again that you might spend eternity with Him.
Prayer: Father Lord, thank You for Your wondrous love. I Thank You for the power and promise of the resurrection in Jesus name (Amen).”

Be Courage to Wait

Be Courage to Wait

“I waited patiently for the LORD; he turned to me and heard my cry” (Psalm 40:1)

There are times when God will call us to act immediately during a battle. But there are other times when He wants us to wait upon Him so that He may act on our behalf. What seems like a frustrating delay is God’s preparation for a great blessing to come. “But they who wait for the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint” (Isaiah 40:31) That’s why I decree prophetically upon your life this new month

I see your adversity result to victory this new month in the name of Jesus Christ

I see your weeping result to dancing this new month in the name of Jesus Christ

I see your due-diligence result to recognition this new month in the name of Jesus Christ

I see your disfavour result to favour this new month in the name of Jesus Christ

Have a blissful productive new month with divine turnaround in the name of Jesus Christ (Amen)

Do You Have Idols?

Do You Have Idols?

The Thessalonians had been idol worshipers—but they had made a 180-degree turnabout. They had broken away from idols and now served the one true God. Not only did they serve God, but they patiently awaited the return of His Son, the risen Lord Jesus.

Here we see the three great evidences of faith: (1) You turn. (2) You serve. (3) You wait for Jesus to return. You might say, “But Michael, I don’t worship idols. I’ve never bowed down to an idol in my life. This passage doesn’t apply to me.”

Please understand, an idol is not merely a little god fashioned out of tin or stone. An idol is anything—or anyone—that occupies our attention, our finances, and our time. An idol is anything or anyone that controls us. An idol is anything that takes the place in our lives where God belongs. Our idols today might be selfish ambitions, the accumulation of wealth and power, an infatuation with another person, an addiction to a substance or a behavior, or an obsession with pleasure and fun.

Many of us who claim Jesus as Lord and Savior would have to admit that these are idols in our lives. By the grace of God, by the power of the Holy Spirit, we need to declare that we hereby turn away from these idols, and we turn to the living God.
Prayer: Lord, forgive me for setting up idols in Your place. Reveal them to me so that I may repent and turn away from them and to You. May I joyfully serve Your Kingdom as I await the return of my Savior, Jesus Christ. I pray in the name of Jesus. Amen.

“With whom will you compare me or count me equal? . . . Remember the former things, those of long ago; I am God, and there is no other; I am God, and there is none like me” (Isaiah 46:5a, 9).

Praise Is a Full-Time Job

Praise Is a Full-Time Job

Therefore I will praise you, LORD, among the nations; I will sing the praises of your name” (Psalm 18:49).

During a mid-week prayer meeting, an elderly man prayed, “Lord, we will praise You with our two eyes, by looking only to You. We will exalt You with our two ears by listening only to Your voice. We will praise You with our two hands by working in Your service. We will honor You with our own feet by walking in the way of Your statutes. We will magnify You with our tongues by bearing testimony to Your lovingkindness. We will worship You with our hearts by loving only You. We thank You for Your faithfulness that never wavers or ceases to be a blessing to us.”

Praise always exalts God. And if we take time to think about it, praise should be a full-time job. However, there may be times when you wonder, “How can I praise God for sorrow and disappointment?” One way we do this is by setting our minds and hearts on God’s grace and mercy. Even in times of deep sorrow and frustration, God remains faithful. He has a plan for our lives, and He will accomplish it.

David was the anointed king of Israel, yet for years he was forced to live life on the run from King Saul. From a human perspective, it seemed David had very little, if anything, to praise God for. However, he did just that. He wrote a wonderful testimony of praise to God:
I love you, LORD, my strength. The LORD is my rock, my fortress and my deliverer; my God is my rock, in whom I take refuge, my shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold. I called to the LORDS, who is worthy of praise, and I have been saved from my enemies. (Psalm 18:1-3)

When you lift your voice to God with words of praise, you declare His goodness and faithfulness to an unbelieving world. Therefore, praise the Lord with all your heart!

Prayer: Lord, I want a heart of unending praise because You are worthy. Thank You that Your Holy Spirit in me is always praising You; help me tune my heart to His voice. I pray in the name of Jesus. Amen.
