There is a revelation that comes when you do some reflection over your life.
What is reflection? Reflection is a process of exploring and examining ourselves, our perspectives, attributes, experiences, actions, interactions and thoughts.
Upon reflection we notice the areas what we need to elevate and improve and most times it shows us that we need some form of promotion in our lives.
Promotion is a term often used in the business world to refer to the advancement of an individual within a company or organization. However, the idea of promotion can also be applied to one’s personal life as a whole which includes our spiritual life, and as believers we believe that every good thing comes from God.
God is the Creator and ruler of the universe and has the power to elevate and bless those who trust and obey Him.
Psalm 75:6-7, says, “For promotion comes neither from the east, nor from the west, nor from the south. But God is the judge: He puts down one, and exalts another.”
God is the ultimate source of elevation. He is the one who lifts up and brings down. He is the one who promotes and demotes. 1 Samuel 2:7
1 Samuel 2:7 says, “The Lord makes poor and makes rich; he brings low and he exalts”.
In this verse, Hannah is praising the Lord for giving her a son, Samuel, and is declaring that God is in control of people’s lives on earth. Hannah’s prayer emphasizes that God is sovereign and holy, and that he can change life situations.
Let look at Biblical example of elevation
Joseph: From a slave to the second highest in command in Egypt. God elevated Joseph in due time. Genesis 41:41
David: From a shepherd boy to the king of Israel. God elevated David according to His divine plan. 1 Samuel 16:13
Esther: From an orphan girl to the queen of Persia. God elevated (Esther for such a time Esther 2:17

What are the Principles of Divine Elevation
1. Humility: God resists the proud but gives grace to the humble. Humility is a key principle for divine elevation. James 4:6Throughout the Bible, humility is portrayed as a desirable and necessary quality for those who follow God. Jesus Himself exemplified humility in His life and teachings. Philippians 2:5-8
2. Obedience to God’s word and His commandments is a prerequisite for divine elevation. Deuteronomy 28:1 Obedience is a key element in our relationship with God. It is a sign of our love and respect for Him, and it is the way we demonstrate our faith in His wisdom and goodness. John 14:15
Abraham’s Obedience: Abraham’s willingness to sacrifice his son Isaac is a powerful example of obedience. Despite the pain and confusion he must have felt, Abraham trusted God and was willing to obey His command. Genesis 22:1-18
Jesus’ Obedience: Jesus is the perfect example of obedience. Even though He was God’s Son, He learned obedience from the things He suffered and became the source of eternal salvation for all who obey Him. Hebrews 5:8-9
3. Faithfulness: God rewards those who are faithful in little with much.
Faithfulness is the quality of being reliable, loyal, and consistent in our beliefs and actions. It is a fruit of the Spirit and a characteristic of God Himself. Galatians 5:22-23
Faithfulness in the Bible: Throughout the Bible, God shows His faithfulness to His people. He keeps His promises and never abandons those who trust in Him. Deuteronomy 7:9
“Know therefore that the LORD thy God, he is God, the faithful God, which keepeth covenant and mercy with them that love him and keep his commandments to a thousand generations;”
In our journey to Divine Elevation there will be season of Trial
Trials serve as a refining process that prepares us for divine elevation.
Zechariah 13:9
“And I will bring the third part through the fire, and will refine them as silver is refined, and will try them as gold is tried: they shall call on my name, and I will hear them: I will say, It is my people: and they shall say, The LORD is my God.”
Building Character: Trials help to build character, which is necessary for divine elevation.
Romans 5:3-4“And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience;” “And patience, experience; and experience, hope:”
Our response should be to trust in God’s timing, remain faithful, and patiently wait for our divine elevation.
Psalm 27 14 “Wait on the LORD: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the LORD.”
